PSG targets Rashford as their next big transfer

PSG coach, Thomas Tuchel, has already set his priority for the next transfer window. The big-name is Marcus Rashford, the 22-year-old Manchester United Star. Rashford fills all the requirements to join the Parisian attacking machine along with Neymar, Mbappe, Di Maria, Cavani, or Mauro Icardi. PSG is available to spend many millions to convince one of United´s key players. The English press talks in a transfer value of around £100 million.

Versatility is the key

Among Rashford’s many strengths, versatility is the one that most pleases Tuchel. The German coach is a massive fan of the English forward. Rashford can perform in all the attacking roles without losing quality. The perfect match to join Neymar and Mbappe. It would be a trio with talent, power and speed.

“In England, football fans didn’t realize how good Rashford is”, said Tuchel about the 22-year-old striker. This season, Rashford suffered some injuries but he still performed at a very high level. So far, he scored 21 goals in 38 matches.

Thinking about Mbappe’s replacement?

Mbappe’s future is yet to decide. His contract is valid until 2022 and PSG doesn´t want to let him go for free. Something that could happen, especially with Real Madrid watching carefully. To avoid that scenario, PSG could be forced to sell the player next year.

PSG’s goal is to keep Mbappe. If Rashford could be the ideal replacement for Mbappe? Maybe. But, for now, Rashford would be another star in the Parisian constellation. That’s the goal!
