Manchester City will host Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium. With nothing else to decide in the Premier League, the Citizens will guard the new English champions. Klopp’s men arrive at this match with an impressive 23-point advantage over the Citizens. In the battle for second place, City is 8 points ahead of Leicester.

Man. City will play for pride

Premier League is decided, but nobody likes to lose. Especially a game between big rivals. Manchester City lost their champions status, but they will want to prove their quality against Liverpool.

Since the competition return, Guardiola’s team played four matches and lost only one to Chelsea (2-1) at Stamford Bridge. Last weekend, the Citizens beat Newcastle (2-0) and secured a spot in FA Cup semi-finals. Something that can provide a boost of confidence to the players.

Manchester City only draw once in the last 20 matches.

Manchester City predicted lineup

For this match Pep Guardiola has four injured players confirmed: Aguero, Eric Garcia, Zack Steffen and Philippe Sandler are all out due to injury.

Ederson; Kyle Walker, Otamendi, Laporte, Mendy; Kevin De Bruyne, Gundogan, David Silva; Mahrez, Bernardo Silva e Sterling.

No pressure for Liverpool

Liverpool will play at Emirates without any pressure. Something that would be difficult to predict at the beginning of the season.

England’s new champions will certainly want to justify their status against their biggest rival in recent years. In their first Premier League meeting of the season, the Reds won 3-1 at Anfield and started to dig a gap that City was unable to close.

In the last round, Liverpool had a convincing 4-0 win over Crystal Palace, their first win after the break. A day later they would become champions.

Liverpool predicted starting lineup

Jurgen Klopp won’t be able to use Joel Matip, Xherdan Shaqiri and Nathaniel Clyne.

Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Henderson, Wijnaldum; Salah, Mane, Firmino.

Betting Prediction

We believe in a very tight match with lots of chances and attacking football. Expect Over 2,5 goals!
