Juventus hosts Lecce tonight for round 28 of Lega Serie A. With Lazio’s loss at Atalanta last round, Juventus opened a 4-point lead and Sarri’s men will try to extend their gap for the Biancoceleste with a win against Lecce.

Check our complete match preview and betting prediction for tonight’s match.

Juventus with a full-back problem to solve

Juventus lost the Italian Super Cup and Coppa Italia more recently, but there’s still the Lega Serie A and Champions League to fight for this season. Sarri’s men opened a 4-point lead last round thanks to Lazio’s loss at Atalanta and will try to extend their gap tonight.

Juventus comes from a 2-0 win at Bologna but that win left major problems for Sarri to solve. Mattia De Sciglio left the game with an injury and Danilo was sent-off, leaving the team with limited options for the full-back position. Alex Sandro is also injured and is out of tonight’s match. Maurizio Sarri should play Matuidi and Juan Cuadrado as full-backs for tonight.

We expect a game totally dominated by Juventus against a team that has been very poor defensively this season. With 60 goals conceded in 27 games in Serie A, the visitors have the worst defensive record in Serie A. Coming from 3 consecutive losses, Lecce conceded 15 goals in that period.

Juventus won their 4 Serie A matches and their last 3 homes games, without conceding goals at Turin.

Juventus Predicted Line-Up

Sczcesny; Cuadrado, De Ligt, Bonucci, Matuidi; Bentancur, Pjanic, Ramsey; Douglas Costa, Cristiano Ronaldo, Dybala.

A mountain to climb for Lecce

Currently sitting inside the relegation zone, Lecce is the only team in that position that has a chance to stay at Serie A next season. Only 3 points separate the 15th from the 18th position and it will be a huge battle for safety with 11 games left to play in the competition.

With the worst defensive record in the league and averaging 5 goals conceded in the last 3 games, today’s challenge seems impossible for Lecce. The visitors lost 7 of their 13 away games in Serie A but managed to get a win at Napoli back in February, which shows their capability for a surprise tonight.

Lecce won just once at Juventus in the club’s history, back in 2004. The team managed to get a 1-1 draw in their first meeting with Juventus in Serie A this season.

Lecce Predicted Line-Up

Gabriel; Rispoli, Rossettini, Lucioni, Calderoni; Petriccione, Tachtsidis, Mancosu; Falco, Saponara; Babacar.

Betting Prediction

We expect a game totally dominated by Juventus. Not only due to their major superiority but also with the possibility to open a 7-point gap in the lead of Serie A. We expect Juventus to get a comfortable win. Check Juventus Handicap (-2).
