Juventus will host Atalanta in matchday 32 of the Serie A. The home team has the lead in the competition, seven points ahead of Lazio. Atalanta is third with their strong offensive football. The Bergamo team promises to give a lot of work to the best defensive record in the league this Saturday.

Juventus with their eyes on the 8th consecutive Scudetto

A 7-point advantage with seven games left to play in Seria A. Seems impossible to think about Juventus losing the 2019/20 Scudetto.

In the final stages of the championship, all points are important. The Italian champions know it and they will certainly want to avoid the defensive mistakes made against AC Milan. Juve lost 4-2 at San Siro after leading 2-0 early in the second half.

Cristiano Ronaldo continues in good shape and is certainly one of the players to consider, but Juve´s defense could be the key to the match. Atalanta is (by far) the best attack in Serie A and Juve the best defense. It will a good battle to watch.

The h2h is very favorable to Juve. The Vecchia Signora only lost one of the previous 20 meetings and won 15. Early in the season, they beat Atalanta (3-1). In the last five meetings, three witnessed goals at both sides.

Mattia De Sciglio, Sami Khedira and Merih Demiral are injured and out of the game.

Attacking machine test

Atalanta’s surprising and impressive season translates into an unusual ability to score goals, especially considering that we are talking about an Italian team. In 31 games, the team led by Gian Piero Gasperini scored 85 goals, which is worth an average of 2.74 per match.

Bergamo’s team enters the field motivated by goals, but also for an incredible series of good results. They currently take 12 consecutive wins. The problem? While scored, the team also conceded many goals. The Serie A average is 1.26 per game. However, it seems something that the team can fix. They count three consecutive cleans sheets, after a series of 10 consecutive matches conceding.

On the Atalanta side, Jose Luis Palomino is out of the game.

Betting prediction

Playing at home, Juventus is always a favorite. However, they will have to avoid some mistakes and play a perfect game against a team that knows how to score goals. Check here the odds for both teams to score.
