August will bring a lot of excitement to European football. Dates of the two biggest European club competitions have been confirmed and set August as a football month. Traditional summer holidays month will also be a true football festival provided by some of the best teams in the world. The games will take place in the same country and behind closed doors – like the national leagues are currently being played.
The most prestigious club tournament in the world will be played in Lisbon between August 7th and 23rd. Luz and Jose de Alvalade will be the match venues.
