KKR made big changes in 2020 but not much this year. They have retained Pat Cummins and Eoin Morgan who were purchased by the franchise last season. Their most notable acquisition this year is Shakib Al Hasan (INR 3.20 crores). They only released five players including Tom Banton this season.

The key players of RCB are Virat Kohli (captain), AB de Villiers, Yuzvendra Chahal and Devdutt Padikkal. RCB has retained the experienced duo of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers and they also have Devdutt Padikkal who emerged as a star player last IPL. So, this makes their batting line-up strong.
RCB has made some notable changes in their squad this year too. Chris Morris went out from RCB and joined Rajasthan Royals on a big money.
