How to Play Extreme Texas Hold’em
Extreme Texas Hold’em is a simple and fast-paced game in which a player plays against the dealer. Since a player is facing only the dealer, newbies can also join the table to play this game. All a player needs is to keep up with fast card deals, rapid setting and quick decisions. Each round of the game is played with a shuffled standard deck of 52 cards.
You have to place your bets after the bets are opened and before they are closed. To participate in this game, you have to place the Ante bet which is only a mandatory bet. After you have placed an Ante bet, the system will automatically place an Ante Plus bet of equal value for you.
The game also features an optional side bet i.e. Best Five bet and the outcome of this bet pays out irrespective of the outcome of the main hand.
As a player, your objective is to beat the dealer by getting a 5-card poker hand better than that of the dealer. After you place your ante bet, the dealer deals two cards face up to the player and two cards face down to the dealer himself/herself. These are the hole cards and your next move depends on the strength of your hole cards.
After you see your hole cards, you have the option of either checking or raising by 4x or 3x the Ante bet. If you select either 3x or 4x, then there will be no additional decision options for you later in this game round. Addition decision options will be there for you if you select the Check option.
After you have selected your option, the dealer deals three cards face-up on the table (three community cards). You have to analyse your hand that you can form with three cards. If you have chosen Check earlier, you will have two options: Raise by 2x the Ante bet or Check.
After you have selected your option, the dealer again deals with two cards face-up on the table which are the last two community cards. Now you have to make the best 5-card poker hand from 7 cards (your 2 hole cards and 5 community cards on the table). If you have selected the 2x option earlier, then you don’t get additional decision options.
On the other hand, if you have selected the Check instead of the 2x option, you will be offered the option of either raising by 1x the Ante bet or folding. Then, the dealer’s two hole cards will be revealed. Whoever can form the better poker hand wins.
For the comparison between hands, the dealer needs to qualify first by getting a pair or better. If the dealer fails to qualify, the Ante bet will be pushed and the Play bet will be paid at odds 1 to 1 if there is.
