Chelsea hosts Norwich at Stamford Bridge, in round 36 of the Premier League. The hosts are looking for a convincing win, getting the most of a Norwich side that are now relegated from the Premier League.

Check a complete match preview and betting prediction for tonight’s match.

Chelsea has Top 4 finish at sight

Chelsea’s Champions League aspirations took a huge blow as the team got an unexpected 3-0 defeat last round against Sheffield United. However, Manchester United only got a draw yesterday against Southampton, leaving the door open for Chelsea to take an important step towards their goal. If the Blues win tonight, and that’s very likely to happen, they will be 3rd with two rounds left to play in the Premier League.

Despite being defeated last round against Sheffield United, Chelsea have 5 wins in their last 7 Premier League matches. Lampard’s team averaged more than 2 goals per game during that span.

Willian has been the main weapon for the team lately, as the Brazillian scored in each of his last four matches at Stamford Bridge. The team has been performing very well at home, with wins in all of their last 4 matches. It’s important to highlight the wins against Tottenham, Everton and Manchester City in that period.

For tonight’s match, Frank Lampard will not have Ben Gilmour and Kante available, while Tomori is doubtful.

Chelsea predicted starting lineup

Kepa, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Zouma, Marcos Alonso, Ross Barkley, Jorginho, Kovacic, Willian, Hudson-Odoi, Giroud.

Norwich relegation from the top flight was confirmed last round

The Canaries saw their fate sealed last Saturday as the team was defeated by West Ham at home. It’s very hard to see Daniel Farke’s team getting anything out of tonight’s match.

Norwich has the worst defensive and offensive records in the Premier League. The Canaries conceded three or more goals on nine matches this season while failing to score in 6 of their last 7 Premier League matches.

The 4-0 home loss against West Ham was Norwich’s 7th consecutive defeat in the Premier League. With the relegation sealed, it will be interesting to see how the team will react in the last 3 games of the competition.

For tonight’s match, Daniel Farke will not have Byram, Hanley, Leitner and Zimmermann available.

Norwich predicted starting lineup

Krul, Aarons, Klose, Godfrey, Lewis, Tettey, McLean, Cantwell, Buendia, Stiepermann, Idah.

Betting Tip

Norwich already won one match in 17 trips in the Premier League and we expect the same outcome tonight. Look for Chelsea to win and keep a clean sheet.
