The Portuguese midfielder arrived at Old Trafford in late January, with Manchester United paying €55 million to Sporting CP. Bruno Fernandes made his debut in early February against Wolves. Despite the draw, his positive impact was recognized by everyone. With him, the Red Devils won 5 of the next 7 games, two of them against major rivals: Chelsea and Manchester City.

The Red Devils are in a 13-game unbeaten run with Bruno Fernandes

Incredible streak across all competitions since the Portuguese arrival. Manchester United was able to close the gap for the Top-4 in Premier League and get a place in the FA Cup semifinal while being still in the hunt in the Europa League.

The team is in a great moment and many players are improving their performances since Bruno Fernandes’s arrival. Players like Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba are good examples of that. Playing alongside Fernandes in the middle, Pogba is clearing all the criticism he suffered lately, while Martial is being more efficient by getting better chances to score.

What if the Premier League had started after Bruno’s arrival?

Manchester United would be leading the Premier League with 18 points. The same as Wolverhampton but with a better goal difference. The Red Devils would have a 2-point advantage over Liverpool.

The 25-year-old scored 5 goals and made 3 assists in just 8 Premier League appearances. Last round against Brighton, Bruno Fernandes scored a brace in the 3-0 win at the Amex Stadium.

Will Man United finish the season in the Top-4?
Will they manage to win the second Europa League title in 3 years?
How far can they go next season?

Bruno Fernandes had no time yet to lift a major title with Manchester United. But one thing is certain: It’s rare to find a player with such a big impact in a major club in such a short time!
