Ehsan Mani, the chairman of the PCB confirmed that the Asia Cup scheduled in September next year has been postponed

Ehsan Mani, the director of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has affirmed that the Asia Cup planned for September one year from now has been deferred. Strangely, his announcement comes after the BCCI President Sourav Ganguly affirmed on Wednesday that the competition has been dropped. In addition, the PCB’s media chief had additionally said that the ultimate choice is yet to be made. And that Ganguly’s announcement doesn’t hold any legitimacy.

Pakistan had advantages of a great level in the cricket event, Asia Cup this year. But the rate with which the pandemic is showing its wrath over the world, the occurrence of the event is in question. PCB is continuously monitoring the situation and talking to the UAE and Sri Lanka to maintain limits.

With COVID-19 circumstance not improving in Asia whenever as soon as possible; Ehsan Mani ensured that the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) needs to arrange it in 2021.
