Arsenal looking for a Europa League spot

The defeat against Tottenham ended with the Arsenal hopes to finish in the Premier League top 4. The team focus is now to secure a Europe League spot for the next season

With three games to play in the championship, Arsenal is five points behind Wolverhampton in the fight for the 6th place. To keep alive this fight, the Gunners needs to beat Liverpool and collect all three points.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the biggest Arsenal star and the main threat to rivals defenses. He signs 20 goals in the Premier League, three of them in the last four matches. Still alive in the fight for the Premier League top scorer. The 31-year-old striker is three goals behind the leader – Jamie Vardy, from Leicester.

Bernd Leno, Calum Chambers, Pablo Marí, Gabriel Martinelli and Eddie Nketiah are out of today’s match. Midfielder Mesut Ozil and Matteo Guendouzi are also expected to be left out, with their future at the club still in doubt.

Arsenal predicted lineup

Martinez, Sokratis, Holding, Kolasinac, Soares, Tierney, Ceballos, Xhaka, Aubameyang, Lacazette, Saka.

Liverpool is looking for seven to set a new record

The new English champions still have goals to meet until the end of the season. With 3 games to play, Jurgen Klopp’s team needs 7 more to break the 100 barriers in the Premier League and equal the 2017/18 record campaign from Manchester City. If the Reds won all the three games will set a new Premier League record.

The reach that mark, Klopp continues to bet in the main stars, but, since the Premier League return, Liverpool won just 50% of the matches (3/6). Among all the competitions the record is even worse (4/10). Playing as visitors, Liverpool only won one of the last six games.

Klopp´s team goal is to reach 100 points. Two more wins and a draw get the job done, but to do that they need to be at the top level against Arsenal and Chelsea, in the next round.

Joel Matip and Jordan Henderson are no longer playing this season. James Milner and Dejan Lovren are recovering from injury and remain in doubt.

Liverpool predicted lineup

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Keita, Salah, Firmino, Mane.
